• The most recent String Groove Contest was held at Harper College on Saturday, April 13, 2013 for violinists, violists, cellists, and string bass players. Contestants eighteen and under competed with their ability to improvise on their instrument.

The most recent String Groove Contest was held at Harper College on Saturday, April 13, 2013for violinists, violists, cellists, and string bass players. Contestants eighteen and under competed with their ability to improvise on their instrument.Prizes included trophies an SX violin CodaBow®, iPad I with String Groove App; a $100 gift certificate from Seman Violins, and a performance in concert with Edgar Gabriel's StringFusion on April 17 at Harper College's Performing Arts Center.
